Alert prior to unpublishing?

Does anyone know if there is a way to configure Episerver to send email alerts to a set address prior to unpublishing content?

Say for example I have an event page that should only be published until October 14th, so I enter an unpublish date for the page when setting it up. 

However, I want to be alerted one month prior to the unpublishing, just as a reminder that it will soon be unpublished. Is there any way to do that?

Not without adding some code

You could possible set up the page to move 1 month before its unpublished, and then get an alert from the new parent, but guess thats not an option

Unfortunately moving the page will not help in our case. But we'll definitely have a look at the post on trapping page expiry.
