Multiple File Upload inactive

Hello,

I'm trying to install EPiServer Client Components (version 2.3) in IE9 but the installation fails silently. After I click "Install" in the confirmation box of IE9, I just get a small red X icon.

I also tried to install EPiServer Client Components in IE8. That worked, but still it didn't activate the "Add Multiple Files" context menu entry.

Can anyone please help?

Check if the user have permissions for advance upload. admin-->config-->permission for functions-->Allow advance...

I found this article:

http://blog.fredrikhaglund.se/blog/2008/07/22/installation-of-episerver-components/

and following its suggestion I manually registered the EPiFileUpload.dll - now it works in IE9, I can upload multiple files and I can even do drag and drop.
