Empty recycle bin

Hi!

 

How do I empty the recycle bin? I have a scheduled job with the following history:

2014-01-27 18:00:00 OK 0 content items were deleted from recycle bin.
2014-01-26 18:00:00 OK 0 content items were deleted from recycle bin.
2014-01-25 18:00:00 OK 0 content items were deleted from recycle bin.
2014-01-24 18:02:21 OK 0 content items were deleted from recycle bin.
2014-01-24 17:34:56 OK 0 content items were deleted from recycle bin.

 

But I cant remove a pagetype created from code because there is a copy in the recycle bin.

In edit mode, at the bottom of the pagetree widget there is a menu option for "Show recycle bin". Select option and then you will see the "Empty bin" button in the top right corner.

Works like a charm :) Any ides why the scheduled job didn't do the trick?

The scheduled job will only delete pages that have been in the bin for more than 30 days.
