Where can I find the uncompressed javascript files for EPiServer 7.5 for debugging purpose?

I think they are in the zip files already so just add <clientResources debug="true" /> and you are good to go.

Can't say I know exactly what the LinkItemCollecion uses. But if you got a custom prop inheriting the LinkItemCollection and got some js of your own you should be able to step from your js to the function EPi calls.
