Disable editor mode

Hi,
We have an environment with several frontend-machines, but want only one of these to be able to enter the editor mode.
All frontend-machines point to a shared AppData on the local network.

What is the simplest way to achieve this so that only one machine can access the editor mode?

Removing the EPiServer.Cms.Shell.UI.dll and EPiServer.Shell.UI.dll from your modulesbin (or bin folder depending on version) should do the trick
