task dialog too small

I have a task in My Tasks gadget. When I click on View Task link then a dialog is shown. This dialog contains my custom control. The problem I am having is that the dialog is approximately 300px wide, which is far too narrow to fit my control. Is there any way to make this dialog bigger (wider)?

I noticed that the code responsible for opening this dialog is in epi-cms/contentediting/command/WorkflowTask command. How do I replace code of this command?
