The versioning of files are handled the same way as pages in 7.5, since it is all IContent now. So you will have versioning on your filemanagement

Is there a correspondence to the filemanagement (especially version handling) in 7.5? The migrations guide states:
"Note The VPP-based file management and the content-based file management are both supported from an API perspective in this version to enable migration as a separate step, but the user interface only supports the new media file system."
What exactly does this mean? Is it possible to implement a version handler like the previous file manager (episerver 6 and 7) in 7.5?
