Archive to Recycle bin

We are in the process of upgrading a clients site form 6R2 to 7.5.

Our client list a large number of events and would liek to keep the site tidy. In 6R2 you could select the recycle bon as an archive location.

In 7.5 tre recycle bin is not selectable as an archive location. Is this something that we can change? if so how?

It's possible. Manage Expiration and Archiving: In the pop-up "Select Page" type in the Id of the recycle bin (in my case 2).
