I have an odd question in regards to episerver thumbnailmanager. We extended episerver thumbnailer to generate the thumbnails a bit differently but appears that EPiServer has made the chose to save all thumbnails as png. I might be wrong on that but it appears in all cases regardless of my image mimetype, it is saving as a png. Is there a way around this or an update that we could try to save the thumbnails as the correct mimetype. Thank you.

How are you specifying the path to the thumbnail image in your model?

I just wrote a small blog post about it.

It was a little experiment I did a while ago.
