How would you go about implementing Angular with Episerver CMS (adn commerce) ? Maybe to use ASP.NET WEB API? Are their more suitable front end frameworks than Angular 2 to use for Episerver solutions?

I have seen few implementations with Angular 1 and React, generally Web Apis serving the backend requests
