how to delete the gadget?
Gadgets are removed from the CMS Authoring UI 'sidebars' by clicking on the gear icon in the lower right and clicking 'remove gadget'.
In the dashboard, it is exactly the same.
You have confused me when you talk about removing the page completely. are you talking about a tab in the dashboard? if so, simply click on the gear in the tab and click 'Delete Tab'
