Without having experience of doing this myself, I can see that the option is available when customising Tiny MCE - see here:

So it looks possible you're able to customise the editor to inject the attribute you need for specific element types.

As a content editor, I want to be able to set a link to "nofollow", so that Google does not follow the link and try to index it. Using TinyMCE 4.8.5 version, Episerver CMS. Currently using custom "epi-link" plug-in for link editor. Is there any way to have an option for adding the attribute "rel = 'nofollow' " in links?
