Windows authentication and admin access

Hi! I'm using windows authentication for an EPiServer site and want to give a new OS user group access to the admin/edit pages. But even if I add the name of the user group to the sections in web.config, I can't get it to work. Do I have to do anything else with for example NTFS permissions on the admin/edit folders? Have you successfully synchronized the new OS user group into EPiServer? This is done in the admin pages. (Administer Groups -> Synchronize). Frank :)
