Installation Error

I have downloaded the demo version of episerver along with the license file, but it is giving me the following message while installing the default website in Episerver Manager

"Cannot connect to installation server. If you are using a proxy, turn it off during installation"

I am using a Windows XP Professional Operating system - Service Pack 3 with 2 GB RAM
Database = SQL Server 2005

we are using an internet proxy to connect to websites

kindly let me know how to proceed on the above

Hi,

During the installation process the installation manager checks the license file is correct/valid against episerver website.

So make sure the manager can access the internet - or do an offline installation.

Which version of episerver cms is it btw?

Hi,

 I am trying to install Episerver CMS 5.

 Also when we try to install it offline, it displays the error message as

"Error Validating license: 10.227.14.18 is not a valid IP Address (Check your License file)" 

This is the IP address which I had typed while registering myself with Episerver website.
