Installation issues with EPiServer 4.51

Tried to install EPiServer 4.51 through the EM 1.3, but the installation ends with the message "SQL Server does not exist or access denied.". I did the following: 1. Created a blank database. 2. Assigned a user with db_owner permissions. 3. Selected the database, user and keyed in password through EM wizard. 4. I also tried creating a new database through wizard (with sa password. Database gets created but without Tables and SPs. Following is my invironment: 1. Windows 2003 Server with SP1. 2. MS SQL Server 2000. 3. Framework Redist 1.1. Where could be the issue?

Still I'm not able to access this resource. But I was able to solve my problem by installing latest SP's for SQL Server. Thanks for your support
