If the max Queries Per Second (QPS) limit is being hit can the QPS limit be increased? Documentation and marketing website indicate 75 QPS is the max offered is this a set limit or negotiable with Epi?

QPS limit normally depends on your subscription https://marketplace.episerver.com/order-episerver-find/

You can order additional indexes as well.

I confirmed with Epi support that the QPS is editable on a one-off basis.

They did note that:

For level "small" and "medium", the QPS limit is 50 and for "large" it is 75.
If you require more than this you should get in contact with your sales representative since larger higher throughput than this requires an exclusive Find cluster.
The QPS is counted on all requests except "track". We also have caching mechanisms for search, multi-search, and autocomplete. If a request hits cache it will not be counted against the QPS.
Soon we will also release a feature where it is possible to enable a queue for bulk indexing requests. Indexing requests that pass the queue will not be counted against the QPS.
