Mirror dynamic data store on save

I've developed a data driven system that uses dynamic data store. When saving to the database I would like it to activate the mirror. Whats is the best way of doing this? We use the mirror for CMS 6 in a CMS6R2 system. I'm not sure the post goes udner 6 or 6R2.
