Upgrading CMS 5.1.422.4 to EPiServer CMS 5 R2 SP2
Yes, first R2 then apply SP2. You can do these two upgrades in one go.
EPiServer Deployment Center requires a working web site to be able to upgrade and it will upgrade both the binaries, configuration files and the database used by the site.

What is the best path to take when upgrading from 5.1.422.4 to R2 SP2?
Do we first need to upgrade to R2 and then apply the SP2?
What about the database? Will the Upgrade Manager take care of that?
I have read through all the posts I could find on the upgrade but any additional tips are welcomed.
